Ergo proxy is a sci-fi and psychological anime that came out in 2006.
I like this anime because the storyline is interesting(i'm not going to spoil so to know more watch it), the protagonist Re-l looks like amy lee from Evanescence, the opening and the ending are amazing(respectively from Monoral and Radiohead.
First a comic adapted to become an adult swim cartoon. Boondocks is simply iconic, I have nothing to add.
Yet again another amazing anime with a beautiful ost produced by the legendary Nujabes. Its a perfect mix between 2000s hiphop and Edo period Japan.
Space cowboys, charismatic characters with obscure past, amazing ost(I tink you can see the pattern here). Just an amazing anime essentially
Skins is a really good serie that depicts adolescents in an not really romentisized way compared to other series(a.k.a Euphoria or). I mean most of the characters look like they haven't taken a shower in a while and they stink. It is pretty raw and that's what's kind of charming. Despite a few unecessary death, it's a really interesting serie if you're into teen dramas.
My favorite type of animation is actually stop-motion. I love the way it looks the amount of time taken to create a simple movement is crazy. Everything is done with a lot of care. I find that very admirable. I have a special place in my heart for Coraline because I remember being in elementary school (maybe 8 yo) at one of my mom's coleague and discovering the movie for the first time being somewhat traumatized. Even thought before rewatching it I couldnt realy remember what happened in the movie, I still remembered the button eyes, the creepy aesthetic.
It's more of a comfort movie for me. The overall vibe, how it reminds me of simpler time(sniff...I feel old).
